MERCEDES-BENZ Performance Studio The opening of Mercedes-Benz Performance Studio this April has added a whole new meaning to the scenic southern coast of Hong Kong Island. People visiting the showroom, at 60 Repulse Bay Road, are discovering that they are not only spoiled for choice by the comprehensive Mercedes-Benz AMG models, parts and accessories on display, but that they also have the chance to view the themed exhibitions that are renewed every few months. Luxurious models on display On display at the showroom from now till mid-December are two exquisite automobiles with the unique materials from designo, as well as other Mercedes-Benz AMG high-performance automobiles. The highlighted models in this new round of exhibition are two Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicles especially equipped with the self-selected materials from the designo series. Also based on the "One man - one engine" philosophy of Mercedes-AMG, each of their engines is hand-crafted by a single technician. As rotating exhibits, they will be replaced by other exhibits after a couple of months, so make sure you visit the showroom soon. Of the two, the CLS 63 AMG with its streamlined design is sure to capture everyone's eyes. Its maximum output of 514 hp and 630 Nm of torque ensure remarkable performance. The other vehicle on display, the E 63 AMG, combines the E-Class's elegance with the powerful AMG V8 engine. Both models display the perfect blend of superiority and dynamism. Create your style The CLS 63 AMG and the E 63 AMG demonstrate the true colors of the designo series via a special selection in trimming, upholstery and body paint that reflects to an extreme level the taste and personality of their owners. Wood trims, for example, come in a variety of choices including the Cinnamora wood trim that is made from camphor wood - a material introduced to the designo series a few years ago. The Stone trim family is no less glamorous. Fashioned from granite, the wafer-thin sheets are finished in a unique shimmer that changes according to the light. Piano lacquer gives the owner yet another option, and interprets the same level of elegance in a different way.
