Keanu Reeves Takes Zung Fu Customers to The World of Constantine
Hollywood heartthrob Keanu Reeves visited Hong Kong in early February to promote his much anticipated new movie Constantine. Since this blockbuster was Keanu's first movie since the phenomenally successful Matrix series, audience around the world has been looking forward to its release. In view of this, Zung Fu decided to treat 1,000 of its prestigious customers to exclusive screenings of Constantine at UA Times Square from February 11-13. The event was the latest in Zung Fu's tradition of arranging fun leisure activities for its customers and the screenings were a huge success.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, Constantine is a re-creation of a comic book called Hell Blazer. In this action thriller, Keanu Reeves stars as John Constantine, a man who has a special "gift" of seeing things. According to the story, John committed suicide out of despair when he was young. He visited hell for two minutes after death and witnessed all the awful things there. However, since "God has a plan for everyone", he managed to come back to life and started work as a detective investigating supernatural mysteries. As the story develops, Constantine teams up with police detective Angela (Rachel Weisz) to investigate the suspicious "suicide" of her twin sister.
As he did in The Matrix, Keanu once again plays a hero out to save the world. He also once again, gets to wear cool black outfits - but then, he looks great in black particularly when he's making life and death decisions that will make or break humankind. There is no doubt that Zung Fu's valued customers enjoyed the stunning special effects and the intriguing story during their special screening of Constantine.
