Zung Fu goes to the movies:
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Zung Fu invited 800 Mercedes-Benz new S-Class car owners to enjoy the screenings of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at UA Times Square in Causeway Bay on January 30-31, 2006. The event was another huge success following a pattern set by a screening of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at Christmas last year.
Directed by Andrew Adamson, and featuring a wonderful cast including Tilda Swinton, James McAvoy and Rupert Everett, The Chronicles of Narnia is a spectacular live-action/CGI adaptation of C.S. Lewis's beloved literary classic. The movie tells the story of four siblings -- Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter -- in World War II England who enter the world of Narnia through a magical wardrobe while playing a game of hide-and-seek in the rural country home of an elderly professor.
Once there, the children discover a charming, once peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs and giants that has become a world cursed to eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Under the guidance of a noble and mystical ruler, the lion Aslan, the children fight to overcome the White Witch's powerful hold over Narnia.
The spectacular, climactic battle that frees Narnia from Jadis's icy spell forever is one that will long stay in the minds of all those who attended the screenings. The movie's dazzling computer animation and intriguing plot captivated the Mercedes-Benz car owners and their families who all enjoyed the movie very much.
