After six months of owning a new Mercedes-Benz, customers have the option of choosing from two service contracts, allowing them to decide which suits them the best. The scheme has been fine-tuned over a period of 25 years and has proved to be hugely popular with Zung Fu customers. Customers opt for either the Extended Warranty & Service (EWS), which takes the vehicle up to the three-year mark, or the Maintenance Comprehensive Package (MCP) which covers the vehicle up until it is two years old. When they have run their course, customers can then sign up for the Service Maintenance & Comprehensive (SMC) plan. The detailed plans are essentially similar to insurance policies - they give total peace of mind to owners, who know that repair costs are built into the fee. All spare parts we use come directly from Mercedes-Benz in Germany and all mechanics are highly trained professionals who are constantly updated on the latest technological developments at Mercedes-Benz. In order to preserve the outstanding quality of the vehicle's performance, only Mobil 1 lubrication oil is used in service centers. Below is a breakdown of the different schemes. EWS This is the most comprehensive service, giving the optimum level of performance and protection. As members of the Extended Warranty Service plan, owners enjoy the highest level of maintenance and repair services at Zung Fu service centers. All regular maintenance and repairs, with only a few exceptions, are included for a period of two and a half years (from when the car is seven months old to three years), or up to a total mileage of 60,000 kilometers from the date of first registration, whichever comes first. The EWS plan not only ensures Mercedes-Benz vehicles are regularly maintained (practically all wear and tear items are included) but at the same time, allows for the valuable two-year factory warranty, along with a full extended warranty provided by Zung Fu for the third year after the date of first registration. MCP This is also designed to ensure the optimum level of performance and protection for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, providing the most comprehensive and professional maintenance service. Participants in the plan can enjoy the highest level of maintenance and repair services at any Zung Fu service centers. All regular maintenance and repairs, with only a few exceptions, are included between the seventh and 24th month of ownership, or up to a total mileage of 40,000 kilometers from the date of first registration, whichever comes first. This plan covers general maintenance and repair services, including component overhaul. It offers total peace of mind: owners do not have to worry about unbudgeted maintenance and repair costs within the contract period. For example, under this plan, there is no need to pay for changing spark plugs or light bulbs; even wear and tear items such as brake pads, brake discs, air and fuel filters are covered. SMC When the EWS or MCP plans have run their course, Zung Fu has another scheme to help owners enjoy trouble-free motoring, ensuring basic maintenance and repairs are taken care of. The Service, Maintenance and Comprehensive (SMC) plan is charged annually and covers all routine maintenance and repair services including component overhaul at any of Zung Fu service centers. It ensures that owners do not have to worry about unbudgeted repair costs.
