Mercedes-Benz High Performance Vehicle Motor Show One of the most significant events in the Mercedes-Benz year is the Mercedes-Benz High Performance Vehicle Motor Show, which was held at Hall 1C of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre on November 25 and 26, 2006. The highlight of this year's event was the launch of the new CL-Class which was presented beside its other High Performance Vehicles family members. All the cars shown in the event symbolised the essence of Mercedes-Benz. Experience the dynamic perfection The Motor Show was held by Zung Fu and attracted a large number of Mercedes-Benz aficionados and car connoisseurs eager to experience the dynamic perfection of each car model. The grand launch of the new CL-Class was held on 24 November and acted as a prelude to the Motor Show itself, where visitors could examine closely the most popular high performance models of the renowned AMG, the stylish CLK and CLS, the commercial vehicle Vito 119, as well as the A, B, C, E and SLK-Class . Legendary heritage Mr Harald Behrend, Chief Operating Officer of Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Limited indicated as much when he said the high performance vehicles (HPV) category "is a very special class in the product portfolio of Mercedes-Benz, representing the brand's legendary heritage and spirit of pursuing perfection in motoring dynamics, and the ultimate in driving experience." Cyber atmosphere and warm hospitality The exhibition hall was specially designed in metallic grey tones to create a futuristic ambience in keeping with the exhibits -- the most technologically advanced automobiles in the world. The venue was spacious enough to let every guest check every detail of every car on display. In addition to the HPVs, car lovers were also captivated by the display of sophisticated wheels and parts for Mercedes-Benz cars; the miniatures of different models; as well as the brand's exclusive novelties and gadgets. These were all displayed in the accessories section of the show. To ensure every single visitor felt welcome, here was a meeting area at venue for visitors' enquiry or to order cars and accessories. The number of sales made is an Indicator of how successful the show was.
