Innovative Assist systems help to ensure a relaxing driving experience in the CL. They support the driver by supplying valuable information.

When parking or looking for a parking space, the driver can call on the assistance of the optimised PARKTRONIC system (standard equipment). In addition, Parking Guidance uses ultrasound sensors and short-range radar to determine whether the size of a parking space is adequate and provides precise instructions on the correct steering angle and turning points needed to park quickly and efficiently.

The optional rear-view camera (standard equipment with CL 600 and CL 65 AMG)enhances your field of vision by displaying the area around the rear of the vehicle. This is shown on the COMAND display.

The optional navigation package (standard equipment for CL 600 and CL 65 AMG) consists of the COMAND APS multimedia system with hard-disk navigation and 3D map display, with Traffic Message Channel (which automatically takes traffic jams into account). The integrated Speed Limit Assist uses a camera to recognise traffic signs showing speed limits, which are then shown in the central display.
