The ELEGANCE and AVANTGARDE equipment lines come as standard with single-tone ambient lighting.

The subdued lighting for the door openers and door pulls, together with lights in the footwells, provide a pleasant lighting atmosphere in the interior when driving at night

The optional sliding glass sunroof increases draught-free air circulation in the interior and offers convenience functions such as "automatic opening" and "automatic closing". A roof lining element which can be moved from the interior serves as a sun visor.

The optional panoramic sliding sunroof with optimised net wind deflector is available as an option and together with the large glass windows, provides the best visibility and light possible and a more generous spacious feeling in all the seats.

When the roof is open the interior can be supplied with fresh air according to your individual wishes by using the various opening positions.<br /> Two electric roller blinds in the interior appointments colour can also be closed using one-touch control if the sun is shining in too brightly.

The automatic re-opening function for both the glass unit and for the roller blind improves operating safety.

The standard-specification THERMATIC automatic climate control system in the C-Class Estate ensures that you enjoy the temperature which best suits you. It allows the driver and front passenger to select their own preferred temperature settings individually.

The optional THERMOTRONIC luxury automatic climate control also allows you to control individual temperature and air supply settings for the rear compartment.

The seats in the C-Class pamper the front and rear occupants with a high level of seating comfort and generous space for the legs and shoulders. Equipment-specific colour concepts, patterns and fluting create attractive visual highlights.

The ELEGANCE equipment line also comes with luxury head restraints. The adjustable seat side bolsters provide better lateral support for the head, which in turn enhances seating comfort on all lengths of journey.

The seat cushion height and backrest angle of the front seats can be partially electrically adjusted. The driver's seat is additionally equipped with a manual lumbar support adjustment for better support of the lumbar spine.

With the optional memory package comes all-electric seat adjustment for the driver and front-passenger seat and an electrically adjustable 4-way lumbar support for both front seats. You can store these and other settings, including the positions of steering wheel, headrest and exterior mirrors. Three different pre-sets can then be called up at the push of a button.

As an option, you can make yourself comfortable on a multicontour front seat with adaptive air chambers. This allows you to set the cushion/backrest side supports and lumbar support in line with your individual comfort and health requirements.

You can pamper yourself with the optional extra of climatised seats in the driver's seat or front-passenger seat, including ventilation and heating (heated seats also available as an individual option).
