The Anti-Theft Protection package includes the anti-theft alarm system (ATA) and interior monitoring system. Once activated by locking the vehicle with the remote control, the anti-theft alarm system (ATA) emits a warning signal in the event of a break-in or theft.

The system triggers an alarm if an unauthorised person opens one of the vehicle doors, tailgate or bonnet. The alarm also sounds if the ignition lock is shorted/removed or the foot brake applied. The tow-away protection function responds to a change in the position of the vehicle and can be deactivated ¡§C for example, if the car is being towed or loaded onto another vehicle.

Sporty driving can actually get even sportier. With the Dynamic Handling package you'll have more fun at the wheel ¡§C and with just the touch of a button. That's because you decide which suspension and transmission set-ups should be used.

In SPORT mode the system adjusts the firmness of the damping and even sharpens the accelerator response and the transmission gearshift points so that you feel the response from the engine more acutely. Comfort mode provides the feeling of a particularly smooth and comfortable ride.

Regardless of the driving mode you select, the electronically regulated damping system always adjusts to the driving situation and road conditions. This increases the road roar and tyre vibration characteristics and driving safety, particularly the vehicle's agility.

One part of the dynamic handling package is its speed-sensitive sports steering with direct ratio. By changing the steering characteristic, it provides a particularly sporty steering sensation.

The Interior Light package includes an automatic interior light for the unlocking sequence, reading lights for the driver and front passenger and ambient lighting for the centre armrest, front footwells and door handles

The Light Package incorporates the Intelligent Light System, which improves visibility in dark conditions by adjusting its bi-xenon headlamps to the current driving situation. Illumination is wider on a country road, for example, and on motorways the range is significantly increased.

The system also features enhanced fog lamps as well as active light and cornering light functions and Adaptive Highbeam Assist. This helps you to detect pedestrians, cyclists or other obstacles at an earlier stage than with conventional low-beam headlamps. The system further optimises road illumination.

Using a camera the headlamp range adjustment and high beams are regulated in such a way that the road is illuminated as best as possible, regardless of the driving situation and the preceding motorists. The high beam automatically switches on when no other road users are detected. A special feature is the gentle transition from one type of light to the other without an abrupt change in intensity. The package includes the LED daytime driving lamps which are also available as an individual feature.

The Memory Package makes frequent switches between drivers much more convenient. It stores individual driver and front-passenger seat settings for up to three people. The driver simply chooses a setting at the push of a button and the seats (including both electrically adjustable four-way lumbar supports), steering column and exterior mirrors are automatically restored to the previously stored positions. The PRE-SAFE? positioning function can also move the front-passenger seat into a more "favourable" crash position in critical situations.

The exterior mirrors can be completely folded in and moved back to their original position from within easy reach of the driver. Whether you're driving through narrow entry ways and exits, parking the car or going through automatic car washes this preventive protection of the mirror casing helps avoid damage. Automatic dimming of the interior mirror and the exterior mirrors on the driver's side help to enhance safety and comfort as it eliminates the need for manual adjustments.
