Our 3-year Apprentice Programme, which includes Apprentice Mechanic / Apprentice Body Repairer / Apprentice Painter streams, allows you to have hands-on experience with automobiles.
Our 2-year Apprentice Programme, available through an Apprentice Technician role, helps you gain sufficient knowledge in maintaining vehicles.

Apprentices can gain work experience and secure stable income (salary, government subsidies and subsidy from employers) during on-the-job training and further study
Apprentice Carer Programme
Apprentice Carer Programme
Each apprentice will be assigned with a designated Carer. Carer will guide the apprentices to acquire the soft skills and technical knowledge which is critical to succeeding in future career development.

The Outstanding Apprentice Award Scheme
Apprentices can participate in the Outstanding Apprentice Award Scheme which was organized by the VTC every year, and cross-exchange with young talents in the industry
Obtain Professional Qualifications upon completion of Apprentice Programme
Obtain Professional Qualifications upon completion of Apprentice Programme
Apprentice can apply to the EMSD to become a registered Vehicle Mechanic through the Voluntary Registration Scheme for Vehicle Mechanics. Students will be provided with learning support from experienced technicians to assist them in completing the programme during the VTC course

Year 1 of related Diploma of Vocational Education managed under Vocational Training Council (VTC), in automotive or equivalent education

Studying Higher Diploma Programs at Hong Kong Institute Of Vocational Education (IVE) ; OR

Holding VTC Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) in a relevant discipline
